Applicants must be citizens of the U.S who have completed the second/sophomore year of undergraduate study. Applicants must be attending an accredited college or university and have achieved a GPA of 3.2 or above. Students must demonstrate financial need and must plan a career in horticulture and allied fields. Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate exceptional dedication to horticulture and whose career goals may involve work in areas such as teaching/research, the public or nonprofit sector, or sustainable agriculture.
