The Joshua David Gardner Memorial Scholarship Endowment Inc. provides scholarships to undergraduates at historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs). Students who are U.S. citizens, ages 17-25 and are admitted or enrolled in an accredited four-year historically black college (HBCU) or university in the United States are eligible to apply. Students must also have a minimum 2.8 GPA and have ACT score of 21 or SAT score of 1200. A 500-word essay on the topic of, "What is the importance of participating in political and social change processes?" must be included as well.
