Minority teacher education scholars program is a collaborative performance-based scholarship program for African-American, Hispanic-American, Asian-American, and Native American students. The participants in the program include Florida’s Florida College System institutions and its public and private universities that have teacher education programs. Applicants must be a resident of the State of Florida, and be African American/Black, Hispanic/Latino, Asian American/Pacific Islander, or American Indian/Alaskan Native. Must be newly admitted into a teacher education program at any of FFMT's participating universities/colleges and be a junior and have not earned a baccalaureate degree in Education.
