Applicants must be full or part-time students within their last year of study at one of the following programs HIA Program at the University of Kansas in Kansas City; HIT Program at Washburn University in Topeka; HIT Program at Hutchinson Community College in Hutchinson; KHIMA members who are attending an accredited HIM program; must be in higher level of education and limited to RHIT progression students; must be in RHIA for Masters or Doctorate in Public Health, Law School, Business Administration, Public Administration, or any other applicable degrees for HIM profession.
