The Reverend Pinckney Scholars Program promotes access to higher education for African American students by awarding scholarships and providing resources through a tailored program throughout college. In addition to monetary support, the Foundation will provide pre-college training and assistance, contact and support from program staff each school year and invitations to workshops and events during each student's tenure as a Reverend Pinckney Scholar. Open to African American high school seniors whose permanent residence is in Beaufort, Charleston or Jasper Counties and are planning to attend a two- or four-year college in the upcoming fall.
